【東方アレンジ】 Demetori - 「輝く針の小人族 ～ Counter-Attack of the Weak」
Demetori is back after a short while, with another amazingly creative album. I don't think this beats le Grimoire De reve quite yet, but overall, it's a great album. As a very big fan, it feels incredibly good to be around for the first time they release something new.
Little Princess has always been a theme I simply liked. When I saw the crossfade of this album and read that the last track's original was going to be "輝く針の小人族", I was already hyped. On the other hand, these two always knew which tracks to pick. Deep Mountain makes a return as a calmer rendition again, whereas Reverse Ideology, Last Remote, Hiroari Shoots a Strange Bird ~ Till When?, The Shining Needle Castle Sinking in the Sky and to top it off, this, make up a stunning combination for heavier tracks in this album.
I cannot complain just even a little bit about this. Last Remote is simply overall great, the DDC choices right here are the best you can pick from that game in my opinion, except maybe for Raiko's Theme and, well, Hiroari...? Just listen to it. It's always been one of the best tracks to work into a metal rendition anyways, Dark PHOENiX has showed us that, as well.
Since this is the last track, they apparently wanted to be a bit off a troll and left a surprise right at the end. It's almost as if they were teasing us, isn't it?
I don't think any other circle could have made this last summer vacation I am passing right now better. It's not just that I love the music these 2 create, but their releases aren't just every half of a year. They take their time and I am happy they do, because they did not disappoint me once. (glaring at Touhou 15)
As for the rest, I can only suggest you buy this or le Grimoire de Reve somewhere. Any support these two get is like charity for my ears. You can find either album on toranoana, akibaoo or Melonbooks:
